Budapest
During our last week in Budapest, we needed time to rest! While we had a great time with our visiting friends Courtney and Shawn (who we stayed with in Amsterdam) on a pub crawl, Noelle had a tough time recovering from a roofie that somehow made its way into her drink. Our last few days in this great city were spent resting.
The theme of our second week was exploration! Our new friends indulged my wine tasting passion with a day in Eger where we drank lots of vino in tasting rooms that were built into a giant hillside, and enjoyed some traditional snacks like onion bread!
When we got to Budapest, we were ready to slow down and relax! Thanks to Selma and Elliot, we were able to do just that in their beautiful apartment! Read about the amazing food we ate, the beautiful walks we took, and the Belgian Beerfest we enjoyed during our first week in Budapest!
